The Tale of Emma and the Bus Journey Part 2

It was 7:45 when we got to the cinema so we missed the 7:15 showing of Prom Night, so we decided to wait until the 9:30 showing. We bough our tickets and then decided to wait in the bowling area. (It’s a cinema/bowling/arcade complex).
I had only been in the bowling part once and that was 4 years ago, I had forgotton how big it is there. We sat at a table and got drinks, Jo’s bf and his friend went to play on the arcade games and we just sat a chatted. After a while Jo and I got hungry and we over to the fast food section, we ordered chips (fries) and onion rings, it came to £2.80, which we though was really good. When we got the food, we realised that it was so cheap because they were tiny little bags of food, we though we were getting plate. The 4 of us had a few chips and 2 onions rings each lol.
At 9 we went back to the cinema section and bought a little tub of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream before the film started. It was so yummy, we then went and bought popcorn and other food. I got some pick a mix, I had a really small bag and it was so expensive.
We went to get our seats at 9:15, the previews started just after that but the film didn’t start until 10. The film was ok, not great, but not so bad that it gets remembered for being bad, not a memorable film, I’ll probably forget I’ve seen it in a few weeks.
The film finished at 11:20, before the film started Jo’s bf and his friend checked the bus timetable and the bus was due at 11:30. It only took us a few minutes to get to the bus stop. I checked the bus timetable and realised they had read the times for the wrong bus, our buses last stop was at 10:55, half an hour before.
